Cotton Rich Corduroy Pencil Midi Skirt

Sadly returned this item as the colour was a lot brighter than expected and I didn’t like the gold buttons. Made it look a bit cheap. A shame as it was comfortable. Slightly big in size. I’m a 14 and ordered a 14 which was a litttle big, but a 12 would probably have been too small.

Lovely shape and good fabric. Very disappointed only the first couple of buttons opened- not great for getting in and out of nor for walking in. I would have left bottom button open if I had been able to. Sadly I ended up having to return it.

Perfect fit (size 12). Quality fabric. Only the first few buttons undo (the rest of the front is stitched down) which gives a neat, modest look when seated. Comfortable.

EThe skirt is good quality and a good fit.

Having lived in jeans and trousers for decades, I decided to try skirts once again. Not the minis I once wore with great panache, often bought in M&S in the 60s/70s but the sleek pencil offerings on the rails this Winter. The black midi was sold out in my size (16) so I bought the dark red colourway and I'm so pleased that I took the plunge. , The colour is simply wonderful, material a bit like moleskin, and length is spot on (I'm 5'6) and it's 2.5 inches below the knee. I like it so much that I tried to buy another but they've sold out. I must mention that only the top 3 buttons open and you step into the garment. I've also bought the velvet pleated skirt in marine blue. Thanks M&S. You're definitely on your way back with a bang.

Nice skirt but a bit small on the waist for the size . Otherwise a nice fit and looks good

Why do so many retailers think midi = aggy !!!! Only reason I haven't given this product 5 stars for fit is because although it fits me (size 16) comfortably on the hips, it seems to narrow down towards the hemline.Will look good with knee high boots though so have kept it. Now M&S! please abandon those awful midi dresses and skirts and just PLEASE start selling exactly the same lovely little 40" dresses BUT IN LONGER LENGTHS !! It can be done with trousers so why not dress lengths?

This pencil skirt is nice and stretchy so while being close fitting it's also comfy. Looks really nice on.

I thought the skirt was spoilt by its brassy looking buttons so I returned it. Otherwise, it seemed good value for money
