Cotton Rich Gilet with Stormwear™

Ordered this gilet to walk the dogs in as it had numerous pockets for poo bags, phone etc etc. Size wise it's perfect being a true fit and just the right lenght. My only concern was if it would be warm enough as it's on the thin side. However my fears were unfounded as it's lined and so incredibly warm. Don't get me wrong, it won't be good for the depth of winter but is ideal for spring/autumn to keep out those chilly breezes. Ideal for me so I can highly recommend.

Bought for my Dad who finds it very practical - lots of pockets, comfortable and lightweight. Perfect for mild weather. Good fit and looks good over casual checked shirt or sweater.

Bought two colours beige and navy for my husband who was very pleased with them however preferred the beige. A friend of his liked it so much he bought the navy one!!! They are great for travelling as they have many pockets are light weight but keep the chill out. Found them slightly on the the smaller size usual size would be a medium but the large fitted better the length is perfect, Well made and stylish what more could you ask for!

I bought this gilet expecting not to be 100%, but when I received it and tried it on,it was a perfect fit the finish excellent and I’m still discovering pockets. Overall this gilet is the best summer weight one I’ve Ever had . Well done M & S.

Item initially tagged in first page as also in big and tall sizes, this proved not to be the case when moving on to the actual item to choose a size. I am returning the waistcoat due to poor fit generally and in particular not long enough.

This was bought for a forthcoming holiday and my husband is really pleased with it. A gilet like this is difficult to find these days which is a shame as they are so practical. It is lightweight and is mesh lined in parts for hot days. There are pockets inside and out.

Gilets are now hard to find and the M & S one is just about adequate. There should be more pockets; the poppers are stiff, and what pockets there are not really big enough. The lack of an inside pocket is annoying. But given the paucity of choices for such items, I have kept the item. But it is not really capacious enough for wearing eg on holiday as a garment for secure storage of documents.
