Cotton Rich Boyfriend Striped Chino Shorts

Lovely shorts. The material is a little thick, but they are really nice quality of meterial. I purchased a size 14 as the reviews said they fitted a liitle small. Usually a size 12 is fine. Size 14 was a great fit.

These are lovely shorts but do come up very small.

Unfortunately these shorts are not what I expected, they are too small, do not appear to have any ‘stretch’ and are made of very heavy material. The quality and appearance is good but sadly not up to M&S usual sizing guide.

Not high rise so made them uncomfortable material extremely thick and a very bad shape for me - ordered 10 and 12 usually a 10 but neither any good for me so had to return

I bought this style of shorts in grey stripe (size 12) last year and was very pleased with them. When I saw that a pink stripe pair were available this year, I ordered them in the same size as last year’s pair. I was very disappointed when I tried to fit them on. They were so tight I could not pull them up let alone do them up. I am still wearing last year’s pair and they still fit perfectly. My recent purchase is on its way back to the warehouse. M&S really need to standardise their sizing if they expect customers to purchase clothes online, the only option for many of us whose local store has been closed!

I liked the pink stripe in these shorts and that is what drew me towards them. I don't normally go for this style of short, preferring something a bit more relaxed. However, good to have a change and I think I will get a lot of wear out of them on warm but not too hot days. One comment I do have is they come with the turn-up in place but as the material is a little thick, it doesn't sit very well. I turned them down, gave them a good iron with a steam iron and they are fine now.

These are lovely shorts but come up small, which is unusual for M&S. Had to buy one size up.

Love these shorts, I bought a very similar pair to these quite a few years ago and they are still wearable but are now much to big so I was very pleased to these shorts advertised on line. I love them and hope they last as long as the last pair.

I have a very curved back so they don’t fit me well, there is quite a large gap at the back of my waist. However they are a great pattern and super quality, so I would recommend to someone with a less arched back!

The fabric used for these shorts I thought was too thick. You wear shorts when it's hot and I don't think I would want to wear these on a hot day. i wasn't keen on the faded dusty pink colour either. Fit on the hips was snug but the waist gapped at the back. I think they will appeal to a young person as they look like something you would wear on a surfing holiday so if that's your style then they would be fine.
