Just as an aside You would need to order a bigger size as this is a slim fit my Husband is a 42 which we ordered but in the end had to move up to a 46 due to the slim fit my Husband is not overweight. My husband needed a new "summer" jacket. Why does the survey have only such a meaningless scale? The jacket is too wide in the shoulders, but too short. He is very slight, long in the body and arms, has no paunch, but a slight bulging below the waist (the result of two obdominal operations ten years ago, for gut cancer). It should not be difficult to get a jacket to fit him. A longer size is ordered. It is OK

Bought this for a river cruise that we are going on. Wanted something smart but not too formal. This does the job and fits really well. Looks great with shorts or trousers and husband looks fabulous

A really nice jacket that fits perfectly. The sleeves are just the right length & the slim fit suits me better than some of the tailored fit jackets I've had from Marks. It's great for summer evenings & feels like it'll be hard wearing. I love the sewn in pocket square that gives it a touch of class. Good value for money, I'm really pleased I chose this instead of one from the linen range.
