Girls' Pure Cotton Gingham School Dress

Bought 2 one for my 11 year old ( didn’t want to buy new skirts, polo shirts etc with her leaving primary school in 3 weeks. Also bought one for my 6 year old. True to size, look lovely on and wash really nice too. I’ll get the wear out of it after the holidays too no doubt. Love M&S school wear ❤️ Would highly recommend

Bought this lovely school dress in yellow for my granddaughter who’s starting school in September. It’s very pretty with lace trimmed pockets & sleeves. The material has a nice feel to it & I’m sure will wear well. The 20pc off was a bonus.

Liked the dress: cotton for being cool & it has pockets. But it's really verging on burgundy rather than red as are all the cotton dresses. Please sort this for next summer M&S!

Great dress but had to return it as much bigger than another blue gingham dress with zip that m and a sells!?

My daughter chose herself this dress, she like this style. Excellent material! It washes well and does not shrink.

I bought this for my grandaughter. Chose age 8-9 as she is nearly 8, and smaller size wouldn't have fit. Plenty of growing room, and longer length better for modesty when sitting crossed legged. However after washing, this is definitely not non iron as described, which was half of the reason for buying! At this price, I would expect it to be non iron if advertised as such. With this in mind I will purchase more elsewhere for alot less money.

I've bought these dresses for a number of years - mainly because they're much cooler than their polyester-mix counterparts. Also lovely and soft after a few washes and last long enough for hand-me-downs. Pretty detailing and the girls love the pockets. They are quite a slim fit so I always get the wide version for my stockier older daughter. They could also do with a slightly longer button placket as my youngest does struggle a little with getting it over her bum and then pulling the top part up over her shoulders. They do have quite big bottoms, though...

This is the second school year I have purchased this dress for my granddaughter. it looks smart, washes well. and is cotton, the dress has plenty of room to move in, which helps to keep cool. its now so popular for all the above reasons so 3/4 of the girls in the class have it.

This is my second time buying this summer dress. They are great quality, fit well and I love the traditional style
