Checked Double Breasted Blazer with Linen

doesn't look like it does online. it looks cheap and is overpriced for what it actually is when you compare it to the quality of other jackets at the retail price. I got mine in the sale and returned it.

Beautiful blazer that's true to size. Fab material and so comfortable to wear. Lots of compliments on it so far. Very happy customer, got it on sale too!

nice subtle ckeck; I found it fitted just above the knee on me; im 5ft4. Jacket didn't sit right on me when fastened; didn't like the plastic poppers. Unfortunately returned for refund. The price is sale is in my opinion just right

I had seen this in store but thought it was expensive at £79. I was thrilled when it was in the sale at £35 so after a quick try on I bought it. When I got it home and had a good look at it I realised that the previous reviews were right. The popper fastening totally cheapens what would otherwise have been a bargain. I will unfortunately be returning it. There were quite a few on the sale rack in my local store so they have obviously not been popular. Would it have been so difficult to have buttonholes?

I really like this jacket as it is long and that is not easy to find. As for the buttons there are spares, and as the top two are superfluous take them off together with the press studs which is easy. Buttons are not one of M and S's strong points but I thought these went well with the jacket. Good neutral colour and washable.

I am so disappointed!! i bought this blazer this afternoon and when i returned home I found that one of the buttons had completely broken into 3 pieces - two bits left attached and the other piece loose in the bag. Also, although the coat had been carefully folded by staff it was full of creases and would not have been fit to wear. Having inspected the buttons more closely I realised that they are very cheap and brittle and would break very easily. I reported this by phone and they have offered a refund or to mend the button!! I think in some ways I ve had a lucky escape - this item is very over priced - I will be taking the refund.

Great colour, goes with everything, ideal when you don’t need a coat, but need something smarter than a cardigan. Great over A posh dress or jeans.

I bought a 12 and 14 in this jacket - I wanted to wear it over a dress for a wedding and from the picture it looked nice and smart. In reality it was quite patterned and although it appeared to be double breasted with buttons it actually had poppers to do it up and the buttons were for show, so when it was open you could see the popper fasteners. The size 12 fit well but looked too big. I returned both jackets and thought they were quite expensive considering they didn't even have button holes!

Buttons are only for show. It fastens with two large plastic Prees studs. The fabric looks like it has been worn several times with the creases. Really disappointed. Diana T

This is a most unsatisfactory garment. It hangs like a sack, the press stud fastenings are visible on outside and look terrible. I am returning it today.
