Linen Rich Fit & Flare Midi Skirt

Comfortable and stylish. Needs ironing before use.

This skirt is perfect for me. I am 5'4" tall and wear a size 8. I ordered the longer length as I like a midi to be a midi and not just a bit longer than a knee- length skirt. On me the skirt is ballerina length and it looks great with a tucked in T- shirt accessorised with sandals or flats. It will look great in cooler weather too,with a sweater and boots. As the item is linen based there will of course be some creasing, but the creases soon drop out as the linen is blended with a man-made fibre. Well done M&S! Full marks on this one.

I bought this skirt in a size 18 and it was a very good fit, liked the colour but the style let is down. Material was a bit flimsy and the pleats fell from the waistband of the skirt and made the skirt look bigger than it should. Returned it as although liked the colour and fit, it made me look bigger than I am, which was a pity.

Fabric soft & light, good length (I’m 5’1) fed up of skirts too high above the knee or trailing on the floor, this sits comfortably below the knee. Ordered a size smaller than usual having read other reviews and it fits perfect. Bought Khaki - love it, black already sold out in my size. Good price for quality of skirt. PLEASE M&S CAN WE HAVE MORE MID LENGTH A LINE SKIRTS - more of this design in other colours would be great ...

This is a great skirt a good weight of fabric and the feel is comfortable. The length and finish are filling a gap in the market, as is the colour black. The top-stitched hem adds a chic touch, not really visible on the photograph. Very personal taste, but black rather that dark brown buttons would have been more pleasing, but in no way detracts from the quality of the garment.

Bought this as a skirt for work. Fabric is too thin for what I needed - more like blouse fabric - so will be returning it. Difficult to see from picture but hem is machine stitched 10cm up the skirt, so is perhaps a feature and a way of giving it some weight at the bottom?. As mentioned in another review buttons are just a trim. Fastening is a side zip.

Absolutely delighted with this skirt. Lovely colour (khaki), good fit and nice material I ordered the long length, I am 5ft 7ins and it is perfect.Classy and stylish. Please can we have more of this quality.

Size 12 long khaki. Waist 30” bottom of pleat (6”) measures 42”. I would have preferred top to be more fitted before the flare. Length 82 cm

Disappointed to have to return this skirt...just the colour I was looking for BUT, too big on waist and too long. At 5ft 10 I expect to order long but this long was neither long long or correct to under knee length.. it just didn't look right on me. Please M&S get some consistency with your sizes!

This is a confortable fit and quite stylish. Please note however that it is a side zip fastener and the buttons at the front do not open.
