We've added our durable Stain & Weatherproof finish that repels water and stains so they stay looking fresh. Crease resistant fabric help creases fall out easily. Made with recycled polyester and responsibly sourced viscose.

We buy these every August for both children. They last all year and fit them as per their size. Adjustable waist is useful as my little one is small around the middle. Wash well and never need ironing as I hang them to dry with the crease down the front

Buy M&S school uniform every new school year for my Grandson, quality and style always good. This year these trousers don't feel as nice a quality as in previous years,and of course as yet unworn so unable to comment on durability.

Trousers are a nice fit however they do not hold their colour well for trousers that's need to be washed weekly. Also there was an issue with order (no other place to give feedback on this) I logged in to my account, went to previous orders, selected reorder on school shirts bought (originally white) but the system chose grey shirts instead of the white one. I hadn't noticed this error so this was inconvenient and annoying.

I have always bought my sons uniform from marks and spencers and never had a problem, this year the material of the trousers are awful, thin, rough, cheap material and they had a smell to them that didn't come out when washed. I always run the new clothes in the washing ma line on a quick wash as my son says they smell of plastic bags, but when I washed these the smell was still there and the material was still stiff and rough. I was very disappointed and had to go and buy another 6 pairs from a different shop.

Thank goodness for M&S doing slim fit . My nephew is starting school and is on the small side so to find age 3-4 and slim fit with the elastic adjusters at the side is a god send . Not sure what we would have done otherwise !
