5pk Cool & Freshfeet™ Cushioned Socks

This review is more for the black version of these socks, which are identical to these but for some unknown reason, M&S have stopped selling them. For years I'd looked for the perfect pair of socks and then found these. I personally don't like the "Trainer Liners" or the high-leg socks,so these were ideal and a god send! Every year I bought 3 packs of these (15 pairs for £36) and they lasted so well, they were still in good nick when I threw them out, but still liked a new batch every now and then. That was until M&S stopped selling the black version of this sock! Why? Now I am almost sock-less as my last batch of 15 pairs is almost gone and I cannot get any more!

M&S was the only shop I could find these short socks (instead of the very short ones which slide under the foot). My husband wears then for golf. He says they’re very comfortable (cushioned) and look smart. One review said they shrunk when washed, so I washed a pair before wearing, & they didn’t shrink at all. Maybe that reviewer was just unlucky. I have given 5* for value & quality but of course that score could only stand if they don’t fall apart, or show excessive wear after a reasonable number of ‘outings’. But on first impressions, they are good sports socks & I purchased two packs.

These are great socks. Excellent fit and appear to be good quality. They are just the right length (just cover the ankle) and do not ride up or down during the day. Only recently bought these so I have no durability feedback but, judging by my other pairs of socks from M&S, they should last a long time.

These were for my son who specifically asked for them. he wears lots of them so they must be good or he wouldn't have wanted more!

These white quarter length socks fit brilliantly. They are bigger than trainer liners, but smaller than ankle socks (in my opinion). I have purchased these socks (under the same part number) for a number of years. These were made in India, and are the biggest fitting, with size 12-14 comfortably fitting my size 13 feet. The previous purchases were made in Turkey, and were somewhat smaller, but did just about fit. The purchases before those were far too small to fit me, but were made somewhere else (not Turkey or India). Check the country of manufacture, India make the largest!

THOUGHT THESE SOCKS WOULD BE GOOD FOR SUMMER BUT FAR TOO THICK SO i HAD TO RETURN THEM.

i have found the perfect sock ,to suit the golfer in the family, it was always, band too tight , after having them on a long time . the very short sport socks gave him blisters , at last the answer to ur prayers. very comfy, also

Bought some of these for my husband last summer and he wore them constantly. Just purchased some more as ideal with trainers and shorts.

I bought these socks because I wanted short socks but trainer socks always slide underneath my foot. I’m not sporty and I was a bit concerned that they may be too thick. It turns out that they are comfortable, they don’t fall down as I walk and I don’t mind the thickness of the fabric. I’m pleased with them, but it would be great if there were some ankle socks made of ordinary M&S cotton sock fabric.

I have bought these socks many times. I like the quarter length that goes just above the ankles. Beware that they tend to shrink when washed - so I always buy a size higher (12 -14 instead of 10 -12 - I am usually size 10) knowing that when washed they will be a perfect fit!
