20cm Non-Stick Loose Base Cake Tin

I bought these for son who has just moved into his first house. Just waiting for him to bake us a cake. Ideal for setting up home.

Needed some new baking tins and was a little dubious when I saw these, but how wrong could I be there not just tins there Marks ans Spencer tins, really sturdy, well made, I've used them a few time they wash easily, there a good size make a really good Victoria sandwich, excellent value for money, one very happy customer .

Although I have not used the tins yet I can see they are a solid tin which will withstand the use for which they are designed.

A tin is a tin, these sandwich tins are non stick, bake evenly, can't ask more than that :)

I was very disappointed with the two sandwich tins I bought last week. I have used them once and they are already discoloured with marks that will not come off - they only had cake mixture in them and were lightly greased. The base in one tin was much looser than the other and this one allowed cake mixture to collect in the rim which was very difficult to clean off after baking. This happened to a lesser extent in the tin with the tighter fitting base. All in all expensive tins which are not functional.

The first sponge cake came out OK until I tried to prise the base from the cake. It ended up being abit of a mess. The second sponge I greased the tins and put a circle of baking parchment in the base. These have come out perfectly. They do need to be greased.

Very disappointed, the sponge mix seeped out of the base making it very difficult to remove the cooked sponge from the base. I certainly do not consider this a quality non stick item.

Great value, work really well, bought two for a sandwich cake, used at weekend and they are fantastic. Clean easily and cooked my coffee cake fabulously! Thank you M&S for your great value bake-ware.
