20 Industrial Style Solar Lights

Very attractive lights which, after a full day of brilliant sunshine provide a subtle glow during the evening. However, as other reviews suggest, unless it is an extremely bright sunny day, they don't work efficiently and have gone out again within an hour of lighting up. Despite how lovely they look, I couldn't recommend them as they are not good value for money.

My wife bought these thinking since they were much more expensive than most they would last a while! Been up just over 3 months 60% of bulbs have failed all spares used and now whole set has died!! NOT M&S Quality shocking...

these look very good however several of the bulbs failed after a few weeks. On changing the bulbs have found that the old bulbs had rusted due to water getting into the lights, not very water tight it seems. Now I've used up all the spare bulbs and cant find how to buy extra bulbs! may have to throw them away after 6 months if i cannot get new bulbs! Surely these would be a simple add on for M&S to offer at point of sale?

These only light up if they have all day sunshine, if you only have a few hours they don’t work, very disappointing.

I love them! They have finished my garden off nicely and look great in the evening when having a glass of wine. I chose this set of lights because I needed battery operated/solar lights as there is no power near to where I wanted to use them. they look gorgeous at night when they are lit up! I chose this set of lights because I needed battery operated/solar lights as there is no power near to where I wanted to use them. They look really stylish and I was happy until I took them out of the packaging and tried to hang them in a tree. I found that there is only 50 cms of cable between the solar unit and the first light. I think you need at least 2 metres of cable. It is a great pity because they look gorgeous at night when they are lit up! I had to hang them on the fence and I bought a cheaper set from a well known DIY store to put in the tree. The cheaper set has 3.2 metres of cable between the battery pack and the first light - much more practical although the lights really aren't as nice.

I purchased these lights as I wanted some better quality garden lights and at £29.50 this is what I expected. The first set I bought hardly lights up despite the solar panel being directly under the sun for three days. The second set was brighter but had a bulb out. Having read the instructions it states the bulbs are replaceble but nowhere does it tell you how to replace them. We have tried unscrewing without success but it looks like you will break the seal if you pull on it hard. These lights look great but very disappointed with the quality.
