2 Pair Pack Thermal Ankle High Socks

I was overjoyed when M&S decided to change their sock sizing from ‘one size fits all’ to 3-5 and 6-8. At last, I thought, I will be able to buy socks that fit! Wrong! I am a shoe size 8 so assumed that the larger size would fit but the heel of the sock is nowhere near my heel. It is nearer my instep. Having opened the packet and trying on these socks, I felt that I couldn’t really return them so tugged at them to get the heel into place. However, since washing them they have shrunk so much they are too uncomfortable to wear. Sadly, I won’t be able to buy any more socks from M&S.

Keeps my toes lovely and cosy, I highly recommend to any one. Feels nice on as well.

Soft and warm in neutral colours (I have the blue set as well) with no silly patterns. They come in two sizes 3-5 and 6-8. I'm a 5 so I bought the 6-8 to allow for shrinkage, and they have, a little bit. I wasn't expecting shrinkage straight away! They're definitely a size 5 now. They're wearing well apart from that and I'm fairly pleased with the, although at ten quid for two pairs I was expecting much better quality.

The socks are warm but have seams at the toe end and it leaves an uncomfortable lump by my little toe that may rub..

Just what I needed to wear with my boots. Cosy, a good fit and thick enough for boots

I bought these for wearing with ankle boots and they are just right. The boots were a little big on me and these socks fill up the gap nicely. They’re warm and they stay put in my boots. A good buy.

Finally socks which actually keep my feet warm. I have lost count of the number of socks I have bought which claim to keep your feet warm but these are the first which actually do. I will be buying more!
