Hanky Hem Chiffon Overlay Top

Bought this at the last moment for an event and so had no other time to shop. Let's be honest here, this is a thin stretchy t-shirt materal lining and a very simple overlay. It is hugely over priced for what it is in the first place but the workmanship is appalling. The overlocking of the underslip shoulder seams is SO badly done that lumps of rumpled edging and overstitching show through the outer chiffon layer and there's no way to press them out because the stitching is not regular and bits of the material edges are doubled stitched over each other. The 'sleeves' are created with a straight hanging seam of stitching, one of which was longer than the other and had unfinished threads on it. The underslip was itchy and bizarrely smelled gamey. I ordered two sizes and each came in different sized packets so one was folded and packed flat and the other stuffed in a packet half the size so emerged creased and unwearable. Utterly disgusting. If I hadn't had to wear it the same day it arrived, I would have returned it. M&S have a word with your suppliers please }:-/
