Ghost 17 Running Trainers

Got to say they’re not great for my feet. The inner part of the arch cuts into my foot when I run. They’re good for walking! Just not running perhaps? At least for me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very comfortable and plenty of room. The Ghost 17 isn’t as cushy as the Glycerin, which I like, yet they do have great cushioning, which i like better. They also seem to have more room around the toe. Overall these are exactly what I wanted.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been running in Ghosts forever at this point. They have never failed me. I love the white look of these, but I know they are going to get so dirty so fast. I do wish they were a bit cheaper though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my favorite shoe. I’m on my third. I was wearing another brand As@@s for several years. My wife introduced me to Brooks Ghost and I couldn’t believe how good they were.

I couldn't wear these shoes. I bought the same size and width I usually do but these shoes hurt my feet to the extent that I have only used them for a few miles of walking. I tried to wear them but I kept having to take them off and put my old Brooks shoes on. It has broken my trust in Brooks shoes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the Ghost 16. But like all companies, some corporate guru has to change the build and the new one doesn’t work for my foot. It feels more like a stability shoe, and for my feel just like the Adrenaline, which was also redesigned and does not work for me. It twists my ankle outward and is a higher rise than the 16. It might be a great shoe for some, but for me it doesn’t work. I waited too long to return it by a few days so I guess I give it away to someone who will use it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the Ghost 17. The only negative is that i would like it to have a little wider toe box. Everything else is really good. Shoe is very comfortable and i get lots of compliments on it. Just wish i had a little more room for my toes.

I’ve bought Brooks Ghost for years and loved them. I run roughly 20 miles a week and have for last 20 years. I buy new running shoes at least once a year. My latest Brooks Ghost are very stiff even after 100 miles of running. The soles seem more plastic than rubber and they don’t break in. I’ve got blisters on inside of the foot and pain in toe area. Unfortunately I’ll need to switch brands and get rid of this pair of Brooks running shoes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I need to return these shoes, but unfortunately, I don’t have anything to replace them with because my other shoes are falling apart because they’re old. The new ghost 17’s are much narrower and much shorter than previous ghost. I wear a men’s eight wide normally, but these are so narrow and so short I think I need a 8 1/2 extra wide
