Firm Control Magicwear™ Lace Shorts

These knickers definitely make me feel sleek and pulled in. They look nice too. There seems to be a trade-off between no VPL and knickers riding up at the back, and these ride up slightly - but it's not too bad and I got used to it. It's just a different feeling to conventional full briefs. Next time I will probably go for a higher leg at the front in the same product line, but these are fine. Washed well. I am size 12, but ordered size 14 (as is my habit for undies) and they fit well. Pretty expensive - the top end for me.

Expensive yes but really good coverage front and back. Holds you in with no roll at tummy. Stock up. More colours M & S

These magic wear lace shorts are very disappointing as having only worn them a couple of times the lace on the waist band has started to come away. They were not particularly cheap and the quality for the price is very poor. I will be returning them with my receipt and hopefully I will get a refund. I would not recommend them and feel M&S quality has been let down here.

The fit is ok, but not keen on the material. The scalloped edges on the waistband are a waste of time as they just crumple up during wear. A smooth waistband is preferable.

I ordered 4 pairs of these pants, one of which I have tried on, the other 3 are going straight back. There is no support in them whatsoever. They are just like ordinary fancy pants with sheering elastic. I really don't know who decided to give these the title of "firm". I was updating my underwear, but sadly the old pants have a lot more wearability and support than these and I have had them many years. I am not fat by any stretch of the imagination, but they certainly don't do anything for me at all. They will be returned at the earliest possible moment. They would be very suitable for a size ZERO!!!

Afraid there is no magic about it. Once it is worn even in the picture the legs seem to turn up a little. Think this item will not be worn.

very pleased with these` shorts` true to size,comfortable,gives a good line under top clothes,doesnt leave one with a bulge at the waistline which some shapewear does,would like them in more colours please

The look and feel of these are quite sexy and these do look a lot better than most pull you in briefs. I have found another pair of shapewear from a well known dept store which are much better in holding your stomach in which has a wider support band hidden under the material. Althougth my stomach does get sucked in a tiny bit - this is not as much as the other one's I have bought. I did buy these from M&S's good reputation and the other reviews which were helpful but I couldn't score them too low as they are good but I do feel on the pricey side. Don't buy if you really want a flat stomach.

No lumps, bumps, firm buttocks and a flat tummy........ Fabulous and without dieting! Being a few kilos over weight this summer, I am delighted with these pants. They do everything they say they do and more. Definitely worth every penny for the confidence they instil.

These knickers are far too expensive for their description and promise. Although generous around the top of the legs, elsewhere, they are on the small size and especially tight over the waist, so if you carry weight around your tummy and don't want the "cupcake top effect", then do no buy these!

super pair pf light control but i found them too short and think I am too big round the tum area for these. maybe a bit too light control for me. But they are very well cut and well made as always

Tried one pair of these to see how they were. Very happy and now ordered several more pairs - will now dispose of inferior items in drawer.......

Will definitely buy another pair of these and recommend them to all who want a bit of extra help to flatten their tummies!
