Evie Straight Leg 7/8th Trousers

I usually buy size 12 or 14 short but as these are 7/8th length I thought I'd go for the regular length instead. When I tried them on the length was the only thing good about them. The material was very thick and frumpy, like the old Crimplene our grannies used to wear. Pockets in side seams are never a good look, they add unwanted inches to the hips. For straight legged trousers they were incredibly wide, with a most ridiculous 4" deep hem. And the colour. I wanted white trousers. Not winter white, not soft white, just plain old white that I can wear in the summer. These looked as if they'd been in the wash with something coloured, they could only be described as a dingy white. Not for me. Again, I'm taking them back.

I like these pants primarily because they have a very good fit and a nice cut. I have bought them in mustard yellow, in navy blue and now in white. Material is very good and a little bit thick which helps to keep the pants structured and to their shape; for the white has the extra advantage that is not see through! I would recommend them!!!

I ordered in 2 different sizes and 2 colours. Since you changed the short length trouser size I have to mess around with 7/8 and ankle grazer. In fact the waist was slightly tight so not worth shortening. To be honest I didn't like the colour much. Now my nearest M & S has shut I have resolved not to buy trousers online as the chances of getting a good fit are minimal.

Have only trued on have not worn or washed. Happy fit and style.

Ordered in 2 different lengths and colours. Lovely colours but shape was not good on me, so even at the bargain sale price, I returned them.

I am so glad I descovered these lovely trousers. I have them in lots of colour love that the legs are not skinny but at the same time not baggy. They are so smart. The blue and black I wear for work and the green , white and pink I wear for holidays and going out. The quality is superb

Bought in sale to match the double breasted jacket. Comfortable and well made. Not yet worn due to warm weather but will I hope be a good outfit for late summer/early autumn. Colour quite bright for me but is fresh looking. Has not been washed but I hope it will wash on a delicates category when the time comes. Very pleased with both jacket and trousers.

I bought these in the nude/pink. First in a size 14 had to exchange them for a 12! Yippee! Came up a bit big I think! It goes with the blazer I bought. Well, just looks perfect for going out to a special lunch. Can’t comment on how it washes as I haven’t worn them yet..

I bought these in the sale in pink. Excellent quality and a bargain I thought. Have not washed them yet but hope they wash well.

Very disappointed, lovely colour but ‘cut’ just did not suit my shape. Returned.

Very deep hem makes trousers look as though they have been altered

I bought these trousers after trying them on in store and the size 12 fitted perfectly however after wearing them for a few hours the fabric seems to have stretched and they looked awful. They were sagging at the behind and hips, I was constantly pulling them up and looked too big. Very disappointed as had I known this I would have purchased the size 10 which were slightly tight and would probably have been fine once they had been worn. Lovely trousers but now after one wear are unwearable.

Bought these in pink but did not liket he colour the material is quite thick but good quality. However the shape of the trousers is strange they are not mid rise or waisted and the width of the leg is straight dow given them a strange look, neither taered or wide in between, so sent them back.
