Embroidered Notch Neck Batwing Sleeve Blouse

I love the colours in this top and the batwings. A little different and wearable with a range of jeans/trousers. It is a little on the short side for a taller person which seems a common theme in the Indigo range. Bought this on sale...wouldn't have paid full price.

Definitely not a jacket as other reviewers have remarked - however, I went ahead and ordered it & so pleased that I did. it is a very relaxed top, loose and comfortable for a warm climate and nice detail in the embroidery - just hope that it washes well. As the fabric (cotton/viscose) is fairly opaque, it hides lumps and bumps. The batwing sleeves only become obvious when arms are open/stretched out. However, they could be awkward if you need to carry a bag over your shoulder, but a crossbody bag might work........

This is definitely not a jacket, but the detailing is stunning, although it was a tad pricey.

Saw this in store early in the season, but a bit expensive. Now summers here thought it would be great so ordered it. Colour great, love orange. Ordered a 14, smaller than normal as thought it might come up big, fitted perfectly. Only problem is...ITS NOT A JACKET! There is no opening down the front! It's a top, you put it on over your head.

This is an unusual piece, like much of the Indigo collection, it is reminiscent of the 70/80s - New Romantic meets hippy! It's described as a jacket, it is definitely not, it's a decorative loose fitting top with batwing sleeves. The material is very light and very comfortable, it is quite big, so perhaps go down a size. I personally have no issue with the style of the sleeves, it's quite nice to have something a bit different.

Ordered on line as my size in rarely available in store. Was a bit taken aback by the batwing sleeves as this does not appear in the description, but i love it! Great fit and very comfortable to wear.

This should really be described as a top and not a jacket. You pop it over your head. It does have batwing sleeves but these just add to the style and I believe are flattering. It looks great on and hangs well and because of the way it hangs it is perfect for hiding lumps and bumps although the length does not quite cover your bottom!. The fabric is light and not see through. One of the best things about it is that it has lovely vibrant colours and an interesting design so it's a little more distinctive. On the negative side it is rather pricey. I could actually go down two sizes as it was rather large but settled for one size down which had a slightly longer length.

I saw this top online. The picture doesn't do this top justice!! I saw it in store today. I tis beautiful! It is flowing fabric... yes, has bat sleeves but that is what makes it how it should be? I bought size up because I think it may shrink? It is a sort of cheesecloth fabric. Not horrible and stiff. Therefore, the tied collar can be left undone and it just flaps open.The embroidery is also very pretty and intricate looking (yes, I know it was done by machine, but does look very good quality) V. light, fabulous top that will be light enough to wear in the summer with a pair of jeans. Also... very forgiving for slightly larger tummy area!

Awful design on a what could have been a lovely top! Its a shame that the sescription don't mention that it has got Bat sleeves - it is very wide and quite short, a very odd combination! The bat sleeves makes it look like a tent! The embroidery is lovely - such a shame!! I was looking forward to receiving this top but it is going straight back.

The blouse is not as pictured. In the photo it appears to have sleeves, but in fact the fabric extends from the cuffs to the hem, like enormous wings. It is also very flimsy and with the arms held out the fabric was see through. Had I realised it had this batwing effect I would not have bought it.
