Very pleased
Very pleased to have picked this jacket up reduced by 50% in the sale. Quite rare to find sale items available in larger sizes (4xl). The style is straightforward but exactly what I was after and highly functional with loads of pockets and a comfy lining.The sizing is generous so plently of room to be worn over a woolly jumper or whatever.

Really nice coat good quality and well made , does come up big so found a medium fitted perfectly instead of my usual large, bought navy colour, fine for cold weather for layering, not for arctic conditions

Waterproof and relatively light
No, I don't recommend this
As waterproof as it gets, not too heavy and comfortable to wear. The hood is a bit of a let down, far too bulky when rolled into the collar and too large when in use. A 'button/clip on' hood would have been a better design. The sleeve 'cuff inserts' are a design failure, they're not needed and can pull a lot of sleeve lining outside of the sleeve when putting the coat on. Best left undone. It's an expensive coat considering what you get but I chose to keep it despite the faults.

A classic and stylish jacket. A good roomy cut, generous pockets and a useful hood "hidden" in the collar. The lining makes it nice and warm on a cold day.

Good but not for me.
Can't fault the quality, but in the end I decided, for my needs it probably wouldn't be warm enough. I also felt it was a rather generous fit. I'm consistently a size L, but this seemed quite big? As expected, no problem returning the item. I'll probably go for one of M&S other winter offerings.

I bought this coat for commuting to London. It is perfect, not too heavy but warm if you do it up. Multi pockets. I have had several people passing about it and saying that they like the look.

Not really a winter coat
No, I don't recommend this
Nicely made but disappointed that it is not very warm (wearing it in early autumn). The fit does allow for a thick jumper underneath but £130 is a lot to pay for a coat that is not really going to be of use in the winter, especially as it only claims to be showerproof too.
