Cool Brown Blending Wand 28ml

I was not keen on this product, I have only used it twice and then gave up. The product does cover grey however it comes out of the brush at the top as a runny liquid and I found it difficult to spread throughout the roots or the hair. The amount needed to cover the grey left my hair feeling wet and a bit greasy looking and it took ages to apply. Then once it was applied beware that it easily transfers to hands if you touch your hair and also to anything that comes into contact with your hair e.g. Pillows. I think I would've rather spent the ten minutes applying a root touch up.

Could not get appointment for my usual colour for 2 weeks so was looking for something to temporarily cover the grey. This works a treat I used a small brush to apply which made it easier. I did not find any mess and it went on easily. I will use again often

I bought two of these and the brush head has fallen off on both. The liquid goes all over the bathroom. Colour looks OK when applied - but turns pillow brown, Great idea - poor execution.

This is the best temporary root touch-up product I've tried so far. I've applied it successfully to damp hair & dry hair and I found it easy enough to apply. I pump some out onto an old plastic lid and use it on the brush from there. I've found it fine to apply direct too, as long as the brush is upright when you pump. It's extremely natural-looking and I would certainly buy it again. The only negative point I can think of is the best before date is quite short on my wand.

As a 'filler' in between dyes this product not only does the job of concealing grey but application can last for more than one wash. I was experiencing breakage and this was suggested by my hairdresser to give my hair 'a rest'. Most disconcerting is the texture of this product and its unpredictable application. Moreover after application my hair became dirty more quickly, particularly at the roots. However, it does the job and I would therefore recommend it but not unreservedly. Take care to avoid getting it down your nails as it is difficult to get out again. Gives your hair a break during which you can feel you are doing something to avoid breakage.

My hair is mid ash brown with no red and I bought and reviewed the light brown blending wand which was good but a bit gingery and have now tried the cool brown which is much better. It is quite dark but I find that is good for roots and makes my hair look thicker which is great. I love these wands and they make all the difference to that stage when you are waiting for the next colour so I now only need a colour every 7-8 weeks instead of 5 which is brilliant.

This product is fantastic. I found that the Cool Brown shade covers the greys and matches my hair better than the Dark Brown shade, which is quite red. I have dark brown hair with a stubborn patch of white at the front and individual grey hairs along my parting. I found the best way to apply this product is to squeeze some out into a bowl and apply to wet hair with a small toothbrush, rather than using the built in applicator. It also helps to your hair straight and away from the scalp as you apply it. It lasts for about 4 washes, then starts to fade gradually over the next 2 washes. It doesn't leave my hair sticky. I'm very pleased with this product - please don't stop selling it M&S!

The last two have had problems with the application brush being loose and separating from the tube when in use.

Life saver. In between hair dyes this solves a continual problem. I will be purchasing for my sister also.
