Giscours has a long, rich history, which can be traced back to the fourteenth century. In 1552, Pierre de L'homme, a wealthy Bordeaux draper, bought a nobleman’s house and proceeded to turn it into a vast estate and planted the first vines. Located in the Margaux appellation, in the communes of Labarde and Arsac, Giscours exceptional terroir presents all the qualities required to produce a great wine.
