Very special bubbles, created for M&S by Elisabeth Sarcalet, winner of Champagne Cellar Master of the Year 2017
We asked M&S winemaker Sue Daniels to share the story behind our new house fizz. "It was a great honour to work with Elisabeth Sarcelet, the cellar master who helped us pick the perfect cuvée, or blend, for our new of house champagne," says Sue. "The result – a classic blend of pinot noir, meunier and chardonnay grapes – is my desert island champagne: rich, with a creamy, soft finish." The range has six to choose from. "Like my children, it's impossible to have a favourite," says Sue. "I'd serve Delacourt brut, for example, as an aperitif, while the medium dry rosé pairs perfectly with desserts."
Fresh and bright, with aromas of brioche, vanilla and white fruit, this makes the perfect aperitif when served chilled
