World Book Day on 4 March combines a love of reading with the fun of dressing up. Basically, it’s the best day ever

One thing I love about World Book Day is taking the extra time to talk favourite books with my kids. The last-minute panic of finding an outfit, not so much. Things are obviously a little different this year with most children celebrating at home, so I recommend keeping it simple by sticking to four classic book series: Harry Potter, Mr. Men, Peter Rabbit and Roald Dahl. My picks are the Harry Potter T-shirt and Hogwarts denim jacket, while in our Mr. Men range, it’s hard to beat the Little Miss dress, Mr. Happy hoodie and Mr. Tickle top. For little ones at nursery, choose from adorable Peter Rabbit dungarees, dresses and sets, or from our Roald Dahl and Natural History Museum collection, a pink ladybird frock or glow-worm sweatshirt inspired by James and the Giant Peach.
