Tasty treats to celebrate VE Day and the long weekend

To mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day on 8 May, M&S has created a commemorative Spitfire tin filled with deliciously buttery Scottish shortbread. During World War Two, M&S colleagues supported the war effort by raising £5,000 towards a Spitfire, aptly named The Marksman, which takes pride of place on our exclusive Spitfire tin. Available in store and online, it’s a thoughtful gift for biscuit lovers and aviation enthusiasts. Since 2009, we’ve donated over £8.5M to The Royal British Legion, and will now be donating 5% of total Spitfire tin sales to continue supporting the Armed Forces community (find out more here).
