It’s worth remembering that a great white wine is not just for the warmer months – it’s a delicious alternative to accompany hearty autumnal meals, too. We’ve worked with distinguished winemaker Adi Badenhorst in the Swartland, one of South Africa’s major vine-growing regions that’s known for its exciting grape varieties, to create this full-bodied, crisp Cornelia wine. With exciting layers of flavour, it combines chenin blanc for hints of apricot, grenache blanc, which delivers the stony core, and viognier for a touch of peach, while verdelho gives it a lovely shot of freshness. Be sure to serve it perfectly chilled; it goes beautifully with fish or chicken.
