Whether it’s late spring or even the height of summer, there’s always the possibility of a surprise rain shower. This (at first glance) classic umbrella features a sturdy crook handle, carved from solid wood, and a clever twist: the reverse is digitally printed with a London skyline motif. Featuring landmarks that include St Pauls Cathedral and Big Ben, the imagery adds a tongue-in-cheek yet elegant touch. Printed on an under-layer, no matter how wet the umbrella gets, the image will only be visible to the person underneath it – keeping things firmly on the right side of novelty.
