A TASTY
BONFIRE-NIGHT FIX

For a cockle-warming cocktail that’s worthy of this year’s Guy Fawkes parties, you can’t go wrong with this award-winning, ready-made blend of apples, vodka and toasty spices

Who doesn’t love the 5th of November? Those fizzing bursts of colour against an inky winter sky; the smell of singed wood and burnt sugar and, of course, those fireside snacks of cinder toffee and sticky caramel apples. Conjure up those warming memories for this year’s firework celebrations with this decadent apple pie martini – an aromatic combination of vodka, spices and apple juice that won gold in Decanter’s 2015 Pre-Mixed Drinks Challenge Awards. Serve over ice, and for an added touch of nostalgia, make your own mini toffee apples to sit inside by scooping spheres from apples using a melon baller and dipping them in a pan of melted sugar.
