• Our Collection truffle balsamic glaze, truffle ketchup and truffle salt are a real treat for keen cooks – use them to boost the flavour of anything from eggs to salads. Find them in the Foodhall.

• For a gift that tastes as good as it looks, treat them to our fruit and nut collection, with pretty bronze-lustred nuts and an embossed chocolate snowflake.

• Nobody can resist our Collection Italian panettone (available in store): with soft, fruit-studded dough and a crunchy topping, it’s heaven with a coffee.

• With limited-edition lavender, Salisbury and English borage honey, this honey tasting gift – complete with a drizzler – is sure to keep them sweet.

• Send them chocolatey biscuits in orange, mint and vanilla flavours, in graphic monochrome packaging.

For cheese lovers

• Our cheese and chutney selection, which comes with a ceramic baker for them to keep their cheese in, and two chutneys, is the ultimate way to spoil fans of festive fromage.

• Available in store, our smooth and tangy award-winning blue stilton or nutty Cornish cove cheddar – infused with a hint of malt whisky – come in smart ceramic truckles, and taste just as good as they look.

• For the perfect pairing with their cheese, send our connoisseur port tasting experience gift – with miniature versions of our finest reserve, ruby, late-bottled vintage and tawny ports.

For the sweet toothed

• Be a star gift giver and send a glittery shimmering star chocolate box filled with creamy truffles. Find it in store and online.

• These Ho Ho Ho chocolates, made with creamy milk chocolate, will please all fans of the sweet stuff. Find them in the Foodhall.

• A wobbling Santa tin, filled with buttery shortbread biscuits, will be a hit with little and big kids.

• Need a gift to bring for a family or to thank your host? A box of milk, white and dark family favourite chocs, great value at £10 for 1kg, is just the thing. Pick one up in store now.

• For a sophisticated sweet treat, choose our Collection chocolate-covered dates. Available in store, they’re as Instagrammable as they are delicious, with dark chocolate covering a sticky, fudgy medjool date.

For discerning drinkers

• Available in the Foodhall, our mini gin baubles make a brilliant stocking filler: five miniature versions of our much-loved Christmas dry gin, distilled especially for M&S at Edinburgh’s Old Curiosity Distillery, complete with ribbon to hang them on the tree.

• You can’t go wrong with champagne, and our house fizz, Delacourt vintage brut, balances citrus with a beautiful buttered toast flavour – it comes in a fancy box, too.

• Do they prefer Italian fizz? Choose a bottle of shimmery gold Conte Priuli Oro prosecco: elegant bubbles with green apple and citrus notes.

• Our trifle-flavour cream packs in all the flavour of a trifle: sponge, custard and raspberry – lovely sipped over ice. Pick it up in the Foodhall.

• For a proper taste of the festive season, shake up our Christmapolitan cocktail, a twist on the classic cosmo with a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg.
