Comfort? Support? Style? Yes, your underwear drawer can have it all, says Natalie Lee of @stylemesunday, known on Instagram for her colourful style and powerful body positive message
“As I’ve got older, the importance of comfort has increased significantly. The comfort factor is my primary reason for purchase when it comes to lingerie: I want to wear it without constantly adjusting, rearranging or being reminded of its presence every two minutes.
“I’ve chosen underwear that has great support but looks good too. I love the unusual colour of this blue set – I have the same bra in beige too, and wear it all the time because it’s so soft and cosy but also offers excellent support.”
“I’m incredibly passionate about showing images of not-so-perfect bodies because, in my eyes, all bodies are perfect. I don’t airbrush any of my pictures – stretch marks, fat and cellulite are all beautifully displayed – because, let’s face it, most of us have one or all of them.
“Many of you will have a body like mine, and I want to show you that you don’t have to hide it. Be loud and proud. I want to see all types of figures, because research shows that the more different types we’re exposed to, the better we feel in our own body.
“This bra has great support – the pretty lace detailing makes it a real showstopper and the aquamarine colour is stunning.”
“I don’t have much black underwear, but it felt good putting this set on. The grey trim ramps up the cool factor, and the bra is extremely comfortable with wide straps and soft cups.
“I’ve worn M&S lingerie my whole life. Occasionally I’ve tried other brands, but ultimately I always come back to M&S because in my opinion you can’t rival the comfort or fit.”
