SUMMER’S SIMPLEST STYLE TIP
All it takes is a little nip and tuck...
T shirts. One of the most basic and familiar garments going. Worn loose, they’re a symbol of summer relaxation. But while I’m loathe to sound like your secondary school history teacher, right now I’m asking you to tuck your shirt in. (Well, T-shirt. But you get the idea.) Just because we’re in sun’s out, guns out territory, that doesn’t mean you don’t need to keep your look smart sometimes – even when you’ve only got a T-shirt to play with. The trick? It's all in the art of the perfect tuck. First, tightly tuck in your (ideally slim-fit) T-shirt, then stand straight and pull out three or four centimetres from the waistband, to create a more precise and put-together outfit, while avoiding the dreaded 'sheet stretched over a space hopper' look of a too-tight tuck. Lesson over.
