Barbecue season is almost upon us. This year, cast the veggie option in a starring role with our delicious new meat-free sausages
Nothing says, ‘Hey there, summer’ like that first blissfully warm afternoon when you dust off the barbecue. But thanks to these meat-free sausages, new to our Food to Order range, there’s no need to make the vegetarian option an afterthought. They come in two bold flavours: broccoli, kale and spinach; and bright pink-hued beetroot and caramelised onion. I love to add extra flavours and texture with interesting toppings. Try making a cheat’s pickle by steeping thinly sliced red onions in white wine vinegar, sugar and salt for 10 minutes, or whip up a speedy salsa verde with muddled soft herbs, garlic and capers. Hot stuff.
