GRANDADS, WE
LOVE YOU

It’s time to drop, not pop, your collar as these effortless and easy-to-wear shirts prove collarless is more

I’d wager that if any of us have a rifle through our wardrobes, among the barely worn suits and the ‘what were you thinking?’ shirts, there are a handful of old favourites we come back to again and again. Well, make some room, because I found another one – the relaxed grandad shirt. Made from a super-soft pure linen, this shirt is just as at home on holiday as it is thrown on around the house. The mid-blue and dark indigo-striped chambray shades have an authentic blue-collar worker feel – apt since the employees of the 1920s cut off their collars to stop them getting caught in machinery, and in the process invented this most easy and casual of shirt styles.
