Perfect party bites
“I love to make my own cheese straws, but there’s so much to do at Christmas, you’ve got to take the odd shortcut. I love the M&S gruyere cheese twists with a glass of Louis Vertay champagne, which we served at our wedding,” says food writer Rosie Birkett.
Cheesy does it
"The swirl of chilli glaze on this bubbling sweet chilli baking camembert is genius,” says photographer and blogger Charlotte Hu. “It looks irresistible and the flavours are perfectly balanced. I know it's made to share, but my guests will have to fight me for it!"
Baking mad
“Baking mince pies is a December ritual,” says food writer Izy Hossack. “I’m always on the lookout for something to make them extra-special, and this rich, fruity brandy and clementine mincemeat is just what I need to take my pies to the next level.”
Very vegan Christmas
“This vegan butternut, almond and pecan nut roast will please everyone in my family,” says blogger Emily Leary. “I love the combination of crunchy almonds and pecans, squash, cranberries and orange – and the red wine gravy finishes it off perfectly.”
