When it comes to my bank balance, knitwear has a lot to answer for. I just can’t resist a good jumper. Thankfully, unlike some more frivolous purchases (sequin jumpsuit, I’m looking at you), each time a jumper is added to my basket, I know there’ll be no regret later. Why? A great knit is warm and hugely versatile: With jeans for a pub lunch? Yep. Tucked into a pencil skirt for work? Indeed. Paired with a flippy midi skirt come spring? You bet. And that’s exactly why this sweater gets my vote – it will serve you beautifully all winter (and beyond). That’s the story I’m telling my bank manager anyway.
