ARCHIVE BY ALEXA
IS BACK

Style icon Alexa Chung is back, with a new range of reworked designs from the M&S archive. Here, she shares her favourite piece from the collection – get ready to snap it up

The new Archive by Alexa collection is definitely more luxe this time around, with a focus on eveningwear. I love all the pieces, but if I had to pick one absolute must-have, it would be the Calverley polka-dot dress. The slip silhouette was inspired by a Nineties design, but the print has been used throughout M&S fashion for decades, especially in the Forties and Fifties. With the last range, it was fascinating to observe how people made the pieces their own, so I can’t wait to see what customers come up with this time. As for me, I’ll be wearing mine with a biker or a khaki parka, adding pointed flats for a playful (and comfy) finish. Think cool Brit girl-meets-preppy Parisian chic.
