Disappointed in obvious VPL

I purchased my usual M&S size but was disappointed to see a VPL despite these supposedly not having one. The fit is true to size but as the finish around the legs isn't smooth and slightly elasticated that may well be the cause. I wouldnt recommend if you are wanting no VPL.

I loved the midi in this range but have been discontinued? I downsized in these pants. Very comfortable, very little vpl. Practical rather than pretty, but who needs to be uncomfortable wearing lace.

A brief note
I must be getting old as I have succumbed to a full brief after years of high leg, they are a good fit and extremely comfy with no vpl.
