Wheels on the Bus Musical Puzzle

This is a good item, bought for my 1 year old niece for Christmas, very colourful, and the musical aspect is great, the pieces are hard wearing, ideal for little ones.

Bought this today for my niece for christmas and good thing I tested the sound at home because it didn't work! Shall be getting a replacement.

Lovely design with chunky jigsaw pieces and slot to guide the bus along the road. BUT Further to the previous review, commenting on the battery only having a lifespan of 200 plays, this is a huge overestimate! We played with the puzzle for about 20 mins yesterday, and after just 10 more mins' play today the battery has run out! I reckon we got 20 plays out of it, at the outside. So instead of enjoying the lovely toy, my 20 month old is now upset that the tune won't play :-(

I was pleased to see that the little bus is quite a chunky solid item - I was expecting it to be made of the same card as the puzzle. But a pity that the puzzle has a non replaceable battery and only approximately 200 playings of the tune. A small child playing it only 10 times a day will exhaust the battery in less than 3 weeks.
