Needed something formal and smart

A beautiful, well-made dress but unfortunately the sleeveless style did suit me.

It's just lovely and fits really well. The wedding is in Las Vegas so I didn't feel that I wanted the conventional dress-and-jacket option in 30 degrees. And I have rubbish legs so I preferred something long anyway. This does the job!

I bought this for cruising formal nights and it really hits the spot. It is smart and elegant but totally unfussy. It covers in all the right places, but will still be cool enough to wear in a hot climate. And such a fair price and gorgeous colour too.

The colour and quality is excellent. Could also be worn as an evening dress.

I ordered two of these dresses which are to be used as bridesmaids dresses for my daughter's wedding this winter. They arrived extremely quickly, much sooner than we had anticipated and certainly before the date which had been indicated when I placed the order. The dresses are beautiful, they are a very rich dark navy, very good quality and the fit is wonderful. They are also long, too long as it happens for my daughter's bridesmaids. They are both around 5ft 5in in height and so they will need to be turned up just a little. This is a plus for me though as I would rather they were too long and needed turning up than short and flapping round their ankles. I cannot fault the order processing by Marks and Spencer or the dresses themselves. We are all extremely happy with these dresses, especially since after the event they will have a beautiful, elegant dress which they will be able to wear for parties, holidays etc. Very impressed and would highly recommend both the dresses themselves and Marks and Spencer's online ordering process.

This dress is gorgeous - it is a very flattering fit in that it is figure-hugging at the waist but also very forgiving with the folds of fabric at the waist and hips. Also, it is properly long, not flapping around my ankles (I am 5' 7"), which all makes for a very elegant silhouette. It looks and feels must more expensive than it actually is and the fit makes me feel like a million dollars in it. Beautiful colour too - all good!

Just received this dress in the post and am thrilled with the quality. I purchased it to wear to a formal military event next month. The navy is a lovely, rich, colour. The cut is flattering, although I found the sizing a bit big. With a few alterations it will be stunning. I was amazed at the speed of delivery to Canada. I ordered it on Sunday and received it Wednesday. Terrific value for money, even after the conversion to Canadian dollars and customs charges!

Ordered in my normal size but thought it would be too small, pleased to say it was a perfect fit apart from being too long which can easily be sorted out. Thought the price was very reasonable for an evening dress but was better still as I got it when there was an offer on. Bought it for a cruise I am going on & felt really smart in this dress when I tried it on, can't wait to wear on my holidays.
