Twiggy for M&S Collection Belted Shirt Dress

disappointed with this, very wide at the bottom(hemline) fabric good,but a little heavy.Colour was wishy,washy.Sorry I returned it,does not put me off Twiggy collection,or MARKS.

After seeing this dress on TV, showing two different ways to wear it, I thought I would give it a go. I am very pleased with the result.

I saw this dress featured on This Morning - it looked smart and stylish. However, I was disappointed with the actual colour (rather a dull grey), the weight of the fabric (too heavy for summer) and the scruffy collar (too small and poorly made). So it was returned - a pity.

Lovely colour and I purchased a matching M & S cardi which smartens the dress up even more. A bit creased when I received it but it ironed out quite easily and did not crease badly when I first wore it which included two hours driving in the car. Thanks M & S and Twiggy, a classic dress which will even take me into autumn. My only reservation would be I would have been totally happy if it was a couple of inches longer but then that is because I am fairly tall.

I love this dress, it is comfortable to wear and ideal for day or dress it up in the evening, the material is quite heavy but this does not take anything away in fact, I would say because its a shirt/dress it makes you feel a bit more secure. I love the fact that in the right places it has extra hidden buttons so you at least know you are secure in your dress. I love it would highly recommend.

Sadly the dress was very big and had to be returned- I admit I am short but it was obviously designed for someone at least 6inches taller than my 5ft 1in and the size 12 (my usual size from M&S) I ordered would have easily fitted a size 16!. Otherwise the styling and attention to detail with extra buttons at the bust line to prevent embaressing openings was good. However I didn't like it enough to try it in a size 8 which would probably have fitted!

Fabric awful and colour drab. Too short for a shirt dress. Another 2-3 inches would have made all the difference.

Lovely colour... perfect style....but material was a let down. It was full of creases...the material was heavy and very prone to creasing. In good material it would have been perfect.

The dress looks much better in the photograph but not so good when I tried it on, felt like I was wearing a very heavy sack tied up in the middle. Felt as heavy as a winter coat, not recommended and taken back the next day
