Twiggy for M&S Collection Satin Effect Hooded Parka

I just love this Parka from the Twiggy Collection. It is so comfortable & looks very stylish,also love the colour which goes with everything. Haven't got a bad thing to say about it!! Would highly recommend. Many Thanks.

I was so disappointed with this garment and returned it immediately. It just did not live up to the pictures of it on the site. Whilst it looked quite stylish it was not the level of quality I was expecting, certainly not good value for money. It was very big too, far too long for shorter ladies.

Ever since I bought this lovely coat it's stopped raining. Love it but will have to wait for the weather to turn.

I hoped this would be shiny as it was described as satin but no. It was dull and uninteresting. The kind of parka you would pass by in the store.

This is a good looking casual coat but previous reviewers were right when they said that the bottom half of the garment is far too generous - looks very 'boxy' from waist down. Likewise the metal tags on the rear hem drawstring dangle and hit your legs when walking. Another small point is that the zip pockets look stylish but it's annoying they don't have side openings for easy access to keys, tissue etc. If you leave them unzipped they flop open like a pouch. Disappointing as overall this is a great coat with the bonus of not having the synthetic feel a 'Stormwear' finish.

LOVE the fabric and the colour! Would have kept it, despite it being dry clean only, and therefore not very practical Although I did wonder...what happens if it rains? Does it shrink?? But I agree with the previous reviewers who said it was a very loose fit, particularly below the waist. OK if you don't mind looking bigger than you really are, because of all the extra fabric adding bulk. So it was the poor fit which was the decider for me. Back it went.

I just love this new parka. Most women's jackets lack pockets or have very small ones, I needed some sort of jacket to walk my dog (with keys, phone, dog waste bags, etc.), so I ordered this one. I'm very happy with my purchase, it is very versatile, perfect for colder days as well as warmer (easy to pull up and fasten the sleeves), the colour blends with most colour palettes, the style is young and cool without exaggerating. A perfect buy!

Love both the style and fit of this garment .. think it a bit overpriced but considered it fitted my need for a light weight casual every day coat. Failed to notice 'dry clean only' !! Am concerned light colour and fabric type will easily mark and therefore need frequent dry cleaning! Would very much like to know if anyone has tried washing this garment .. did note one of the other reviewers indicated an intention to wash.If washable will definite keep and would then recommend to a friend .. please if anyone has washed write a review.
