Textured Sculpt Dress with Wool

I wish, oh I wish, I had just lost another half a stone! I bought this dress, and it is beautiful. It looks so expensive and stylish it would have been so good for the occasion I was attending. I am a bit 'pear-shaped' and I thought the textured, stretchy fabric would accommodate my figure. It did, but unfoortunately, the lining wasn't stretchy. I didn't want to risk splitting the lining, so I will have to shed a few more pounds and just hope that M & S will re-stock it next year. I was dissappointed - more with myself than with the dress.

A dress that I can wash and pack and will come out looking good. Great for facilitating and work generally. Comfortable, good length and smart. Can wear with boots, high heels and flats alike. Just a great easy dress.

The dress is on the small size but fitted me perfectly. Unfortunately I had to return it as it was too short for me. I'm 5' 11" I wish you made this dress in two lengths for us taller girls

I like this very much I have the ivory one already.I found it slightly small but well cut nicely lined lovely sleeves & a good knee length.A lighter more summery colour would be nice in this dress.

I have this in Cream which I really loved,and so when I spotted it in Black, Had to have one! They are well made,fabulous design, quite heavy material with lovely slight raised pattern, good length on me(I am 5ft 5),beautifully lined,great attention to detail and look so much more expensive than what they were. When I first wore the Cream one I had so many compliments,and everybody was asking me where I bought it! Although it is an odd time of year to buy this one, I know I shall get lots of wear out of it, it really is a timeless style,and I love the longer length sleeve,too,as my top arms have got larger as I have got older! So very flattering. Well worth the extra money,and I dont mind having it dry cleaned,as i feel it is worth it for this much style! Would look fabulous in Navy! Only thing is, does come up rather small, so go for next size up,as I have done. I am normally a 12,(but 14 fits me well,without being too tight!). Great job, marks!

I have this dress in cream and dark red so I know how good it looks on, so with the 20% promotion on I bought it in black and I am not disappointed. As in most of the Speziale range I have to go up a size but I know I have to so I just accept it because that is my favourite range in M&S. It might be a bit late in the year to buy a black wool dress but once you see it on you will find any excuse to wear it a lot. Being 5'2" it is longer on me than the model but I like my knees covered and it does that.

I never normally write reviews - but just had to comment on this this beautiful dress. I wore it to Ladies Charity lunch and got lots of compliments. I am a regular size 8 and it fits perfectly. The quality of the fabric, the cut, the sleeve length, all add up to a well designed dress. Wish it could be repeated in a summer colour. Well done M & S

Beautiful dress which gives you an hourglass figure but I needed a full size larger to be comfortable - it's very constricting and my usual size made me feel trussed up!

Very well cut, good fabric (heavy with an excellent drape), well lined, good length (I'm 5' 9") and very well finished. With a different label in the neck, it would be £300 at least. If this is the new Markies, then roll it out!

This dress arrived in Melbourne Australia today..long awaited. It is divine. Fits and hugs in all the right places. Quality of material is superb. I am 5'2" and it is about 2" below my knee. Normally I would shorten to knee length but this will look good with boots. I am delighted with this dress. I have one in cream and just as happy with that one, although I did shorten that one! Love it.
