Roma Rise Ankle Tapered Trousers

I am a size 12 but have heavy legs, so always a problem finding flattering trousers ( which is why I love the wide leg range at M&S). I loved this pair but my legs have wide calves so couldn't even get on. If you have slim legs, will look good.

The gorgeous tencel is lovely and soft to the touch and weighty enough to hang well. Unfortunately the complete lack of tailoring emphasies large tummies and behinds! Steer well clear.

They slip down at the back unless tied tightly on the waist and are only a reasonable purchase at the sale price.

Got two Pairs Of These Trousers. Very Comfortable on, Got Them In the twenty per cent off, So the Price Good! Would Buy More In Different colour than Slate.

arrived in extremely poor condition - I did not event take them out of the already opened cellophane packaging. The trousers were faded on both legs and should not have passed quality control. They were immediately returned.

These are just what I wanted. They look smart but casual enough to wear around the shops. Unlike my other tencil trousers, they do not crease. Only drawback is that they are quite expensive but unlike others I have tried on, these are slimming. I am 5'2" and weigh under 9 stone but a lot of these sort of trousers make me look overweight - these do not. I would have rated this item excellent except for the price.

I was looking for stylish trousers to wear after abdominal surgery, not ready for joggers or elastic acted waistbands yet! These trousers are great, they are slim fitting and not loose as depicted on the model. I'm a size 14 long and they fitted true to size. They do have an elastic acted waist but not of the frumpy variety which bunches up to make you look bigger. They are very stylish with just a plain vest and strappy sandals & jewellery. Easily styled casual or smart. The fabric drapes well only creases a little where knee bends etc but I've found they drop out overnight. Only one slight issue is that they tend to creep down as you walk and need an occasional hitch up. They have been much admired and I'd love them in another colour.

Loved the colour but would prefer the leg shape to be more classic, had not realised that the leg was so tapered which completely spoilt them for me.
