Tapered Leg Track Pants

These are great for work and really comfortable. The length is just right too!

I ordered two pairs because I wasn't sure of the size but I liked the colour. However I was not happy with the quality and I was really looking for more formal trouser in a better quality summer weight material.

Bought these trousers in regular length however exchanged them for long as regular was too short. However after one wearing I washed them only to find they were now completely unwearable due to creases and white lines which appeared all over. Extremely disappointed and until reading other reviews on here assumed I was at fault. Had consigned them for recycling however Will now return them as others have already done . Not M &S usual standard.

Loved these trousers until I washed them! Followed washing instructions and washed in M&S washing liquid. On drying found colour had faded and white streaks had appeared. Returned to local branch who gave me refund but advised that they knew of no issue with these trousers. Was about to re-order when I checked reviews! Definitely an issue with quality here. Also length is way off usual M&S lengths , had to buy long, usually regular.

It's a flattering style , quite a heavy fabric, but cool, with a nice drape.I am just over 5'4 inches and the size 8 medium hangs below my waist and comes about an inch above my ankle bone . If I hoiked the trousers to sit on my waist, they would obviously come a couple of inches higher up my leg. If you want the trousers to be ful length I advise ordering a longer length than you would usually, if possible. Having read reviews on this site about shrinkage I measured length and width four ways before washing the trousers. I washed on a gentle action 30 degree wool cycle with a delicates laundry liquid and a little fabric softener, then hung them by the waist on a trouser hanger to dry. I pulled at the legs a few times as they dried Result? When dry, just under one cm , shorter measurement on outside leg, 0.5 cm on inside leg and just under 0.5 cm across the ankle. When worn, I don't notice the difference. So am relieved! !

Trousers look great on......... washed them as per instructions,they shrunk and the colour faded and streaks appeared down the legs .. not good quality at all, will be taking these back tomorrow.

Although I liked these trousers I had ordered a medium leg length and I don't know what happened in the manufacture of these but they were about 3 inches too short for me. I am 5ft 7in and the medium length is usually just right. I bought a pair of these last year with no trouble. I think M&S have got to seriously look at the length of their trousers. Needless to say I returned them to the store.

Very comfortable..can be worn casual or smart...have in both colours...more colours please!!!

Absolutely loved these trousers when I bought them, but, and it's a big but, they shrank a size when I washed them, including 2inches length, and the fabric went streaky. Returned as faulty item. M&S, please carry out fabric testing BEFORE garments are manufactured.

So pleased with these trousers have a pair in both colours now very comfortable to wear and a nice easy fit can dress up or down . Maybe we could have more colours .
