Tapered Edge Pillow

Due to rhinitis I have to wash my pillows regularly. These wash really well as the stuffing doesn't end up in a lump or get twisted during a gentle spin cycle. They are really comfortable with the tapered edge giving a bit more space for movement of the filling when moving around while asleep. So, why, when I've just found this type of pillow have M&S decided not to sell them any more?! Incidentally, when I was buying the last one in my local M&S, there was another lady who would have bought it if I hadn't!

I have always had feather pillows so was a little unsure about ordering these, I needn't have worried. The shallow edges are a great idea as your head doesn't sink in the middle which in turn makes the ends come up around your face. I sleep on my back but even when lying on my side I found the pillow comfortable so whether you sleep on your back or side I think this pillow will work for both. Great support, great nights sleep, I highly recommend this pillow.

Absolutely the best pillows I have ever had. They are cosy, soft and supportive.

My partner was always complaining about his pillows sinking in the middle and rising up around his ears. These pillows don't do this. I've sometimes found that pillows hurt my ears, don't know why but they just did. Again, these pillows don't and are really comfortable. Really clever idea that is working for us.

I was unable to see this pillow in store, so ordered on the strength of the reviews. What is not mentioned in the description is that it is a medium support pillow. This information would have been useful as firm support is recommended for side sleepers. I suffer from neck problems and have tried many styles of pillow, including memory foam (too hard). This one, while not perfect, is one of the better ones. I am not sure that the filling will stand up to long term wear and I would like to see a firm support version, but it is a clever design. Although I have said that I would recommend it to a friend, a pillow is a personal thing and I would suggest seeing it in store. Online ordering from M&S was, as usual, a good experience with speedy delivery.

A good quality pillow for the money. I have found the pillow very comfortable with noticeable support for the neck and shoulders.

I was looking for a pillow just like this, fuller and higher in the middle but I didn't think such a pillow existed. I used to sleep with an arm under the edge of the pillow just to keep it from sinking, now I don't have to do that as this one elevates my head high enough to be comfortable without straining your neck muscles. Hopefully it will keep it's shape for a while! Well done M&S for coming up with this design.

This is an amazingly comfortable pillow - the best I've had and I've tried many! It's perfect for side-sleepers as the tapered edge fits neatly under your shoulder and neck avoiding the usual stretch & strain of regular shaped pillows. I've now purchased one for my daughter & one for my husband and they both sing its praises. An unexpected benefit has been a reduction of my husband's snoring - bliss!
