Suede Lace Up Derby Shoes

Excellent quality, well made but rather narrow over in-step.

I had, very recently purchased three pairs of size eight "luxury collection" shoes (and one pair of "autograph"). These were all a perfect pit. I ordered these shoes thinking that, as they were the same size, that they, too, would be a good fit- unfortunately they were not. These shoes were so tight across the bridge that I could barely insert my foot. The shoes are good quality and look good shame they do not fit!

Husband like these shoes and were comfortable but the suede tops put him off thinking they would mark easily so returned

These shoes have started to come apart after four wearings. The problem is that the bit that holds the laces is sewn to the suede at the front of the shoe by two visible twine stitches (look at the enlarged picture). On one shoe the twine has come undone on one side and there seems no obvious way to repair it. Expensive shoes that look as though I got them from a second-hand stall! Apart from the quality (design?) issue they are very attractive shoes in my opinion.

My husband bought these online, and when they arrived they were to light so had to return them, pity they did not do them in dark brown. BUT the style/fit were spot on.
