Striped Ponte Tunic

Bought this dress as it was just what I was looking for. When it arrived the weight in the parcel felt heavy so could tell before I even unfolded it that the quality was good. However, as I am only 5ft 2in when I put it on it was a lot longer than in the picture, so not M&S's fault, just me being a bit too short. It was down to just above the knee and I wanted it thigh length for wearing with leggings and boots or courts. So back it went but if you are a bit taller, you won't be disappointed.

I purchased this because it looked so nice on the internet, however, it was far too big for me, and far too long, coming nearly to my knees (I'm 5'2). It is also a very thick material and the overall impression was very frumpy! Not for me.

I really liked this tunic but my local store did not have my size so I purchased online. It was only when I actually came to try it on that I realised the sides are scooped. Being very petite I had purchased this tunic to wear as a dress with dark tights in the winter months. For my purpose the sides without scoops would have been better. It looks okay on, so decided to keep it; but it probably does look more like a tunic than a dress.

Elegant, chic and very stylish .... a perfect fashion statement.
