Striped Midi Dress

Really great dress. As I am big at the top, this fitted great. However, the dress does stuck out around the thigh area... it looked really odd. As I don't often find dresses that fit me well, I'm going to have the odd bits taken in. Love the material too, good quality.

I ordered this dress online thinking as it was advertised Midi dress that it was indeed a Midi, the length being mid calf.I was surprised when trying it on that it is i a knee length dress.I thought I could wear it through the Winter with boots and a long Coat. I am 5 ft 5inches a very standard height and it finishes on my knee so why its called a Midi I am unsure. Having said that I really do like the dress.The quality of fabric is lovely as is the style. A little large on my hips but as it seems to be a Cocoon shape thats probably why.Have decided its a keeper as puchased in the sale so a bargain.

This dress looked fabulous online. The quality of the material was good and it was nicely finished but it was far too short for me sitting above my knees and I am 5'9". When will you start making dresses that are longer for the mature woman as most of your dresses now are well above the knee in length.

Soo comfortable and nice dress! For shorter girls they are little bit longer, but it is OK

I was so excited to see this dress reappear online in (so I thought) my size. However, I'm either too short or the dress is designed for a longer body, as the bust darts were almost as low as my waistline! I loved the fabric, style and fit everywhere other than the too-long-for-me upper body part of the dress. I've bought dresses and tops online from M&S many times and have mostly found the fit ok, so I'm very disappointed with this dress and am, consequently, returning it.

A great dress - after a long search for something to wear to a wedding this proved just right. Great dressed up with a hat, jacket and heels for a wedding, but could also be worn on its own for work. Great fit, well made and great fabric. Would definitely buy in different colours if it became available. Fit very flattering.

I decided to try this dress, despite a few other comments about the odd shaping. Sadly it definitely didn't fit my body shape. Somehow too much fabric around the top of the dress. Returned!

This dress is stunning and for once M&S have not designed it for an exaggerated pear shape. It gives the illusion of having a smaller waist. I have an athletic build with slim hips and larger bust and struggle to get clothes that are not too baggy on the hips if they fit my waist, similarly if they fit my shoulders they are too tight on the bust. The 10 fits me perfectly, I am normally a 12 and sometimes even a 14 in tops, where the manufacturer skimps on fabric. At 5'6" it sits on the knee. Fabric is very good quality and you can't see underwear lines, provided you wear the right size which don't dig in; I abhor shape wear, it just seems to shift the flab elsewhere and is uncomfortable particularly in hot weather. This dress gives you the shape without resorting to spandex instruments of torture.

I REALLY wanted to like this dress - I had been looking for a dress like this for ages. As an aside, it is not a midi dress - I'm 5'6" and the size 12 reached my knee, like any normal dress. Size 12 fitted well, not too clingy, but the collar/neckline was completely mad! It was almost like wearing a funnel neck - it didn't lie flat against my collar bone and looked awful under a jacket, with the material bunching horribly around my neck. Sadly returned.

After weeks of waiting, finally managed to get hold of my size. If you can find one, get it now, it's fab
