Square Vintage Style Floor Lamp

We liked this as soon as we saw it in the shop. However, on seeing it in the daylight in our home we realised that the colour is a rather murky green. Never mind, we said, it has a lovely style to it, the base is elegant and the colour does match a tiny little patch of murky green in the floral curtains, so it will be ok. However! When we switched it on, the light bulb could clearly be seen through the shade. We then toured all known shops for a wide variety of bulbs, but all could still be seen, thus spoiling the look of the light. Surely, the point of a shade is to hide the grotty bulb? This review also applies to the matching table lamp.

I purchased this lamp with a green shade. I found it very easy to put together and am very pleased with whole look of the lamp.

Very pleased with my purchase as it was hard to realise what the lamp would look like in place and it is perfect.

I bought two of these lamps, one with a green shade and one with the purple colour. It is very well designed and looks lovely. When lit it provides a nice atmosphere. The only thing I would say is that the light is not that bright, and would not be much good for reading for many people. However if you are looking for a nice looking light as part of an overall lighting scheme it is very nice.

Unfortunately the shade has a mark on. Had to return. Also, the sectioned stand does not do much for the lamp styling.

I ordered the lamp and it was delivered to my local store within a matter of days. Fabulous purchase and fabulous service. Very impressed.
