Slim Fit 5 Button Eveningwear Waistcoat

I wanted to buy a waistcoat to match the dress my other half was wearing to a black tie function. Due to the store I visited having a grand total of 4 waistcoats in stock, I was advised to order online and deliver into store. A member of staff on showed me a selection of waistcoats on an iPad, and as the colour of this waistcoat matched my other half's dress colour (purple) perfectly, I ordered online into store to collect. When I collected the waistcoat, the colour of the waistcoat was maroon (not purple as appears on the website), and the material did not feel of the greatest quality for the price. Despite being offered a chance to exchange for a different waistcoat, as M&S do not sell a plain black waistcoat, I asked for a refund. So to conclude this product: Is expensive for the quality and does not match the picture advertised on the website.

This item was delivered promptly. Unfortunately when it was tried on it was found to be splitting at the sewing join on the left hand shoulder. It was promptly returned and refunded with out fuss but it was a shame that it occured in the first place as I was waiting for it to wear at a wedding.
