Sequin Embellished Coat with Wool

The fact that the coat was covered in sequins was the initial draw for me ... I bought the pink coloured one , then my husband spotted the navy one so ( as you do ) I bought that one too . I am quite short so the length , 3/4 on most is the right length for me . I was lucky enough to buy both coats whilst there was a 20% discount available . I can see that they are made more as a dress coat than an everyday wear coat so I am not concerned about the previous comments about the material .

Lovely midnight blue colour which sparkles with the lovely sequins- in a subtle way. I am a typical size 16 and have bought size 14 because of the easy fit. The coat comes to mid thigh on my 5'4" frame. Lots of lovely comments. Try and avoid shoulder bags.

This coat is big - it has a slouchy fit which is fine and it looked good BUT after 2 weeks (approx wearing it 6 times) the fabric started to 'bobble and matt' and it ended up looking like a dirty old blanket - really not a good look. Fortunately the staff at my local branch agreed and gave me a refund without question. I don't know if I had a 'dodgy' one but just be warned that your lovely. sparkly and really quite expensive coat might not last.....

Love my coat, yes it's big and slouchy, that's this seasons style. Already had lots of compliments.

I am baffled by the previous comments about this coat,the fit is supposed to be loose and slouchy. The sequins are quite subtle and it lends itself to different styling, luxe boho or masculine shapes. I don't think it would be up to everyday wear but can see it being used a lot for winter evenings out.

This is a very glamorous fabric, with blue sequins felted into the surface. There are two buttons on each side to a give a double-breasted effect when fastened but on the two examples I tried on the buttons were not lined up correctly. Couldn't find anyone to discuss this with so I left (Southampton West Quay store). Much as I love the fabric I fear that it may wear badly on the shoulder as I wear my bag this way. Yes, sized a bit large. The one that got away.

Bought this coat in a size12, as I am 12-14 it was more of a 16+ I have now got a size 8 and to be honest a size 6 would have been a perfect fit! Who doe's the sizing for M&S?

Lovely coat but much much too big. Normally a 14 but I tried that on in store and it was too big. Ordered a 12 and that is too big. Will try and see if they have a 10 in store that I can try.
