Secret Support™ Floral Lace Trim DD-G Pyjama Vest Top

I have bought quite a few of these vests in The previous design and loved them, they were either in white or cream so when I saw the pink I thought great and got one. Unfortunately the design around the shoulders has changed and provides no support at all. Great shame M @ S bring back the old design. !

Very pretty and well made, but nowhere near the kind of support that a DD-G bust needs. As another reviewer says, the straps are set too wide on the shoulders and the V-neck is way too deep and baggy to provide adequate coverage or support. And I'm only a 8 DD/E. It felt like a A-D design transposed onto a DD-G without any thought for the different styling required. A shame - I am now going to have to start resorting to more expensive versions elsewhere as M&S are failing in this department. My last decent DD-G top from about 3 years ago is just giving up the ghost :(

The design is not right; Straps sit too far out on the shoulders to feel comfortable. The v-neck looks nice when 1st on, but then v-neck slips down & is far too deep => flattering shape goes south, doesn’t support & you pop out whilst sleeping! Can't resolve by shortening the shoulder straps as simply cut into your shoulders. I think the v-neck at the front is simply cut too big & deep for DD-G’s. Dropping down a size to a 10 (32FF) helped a little, but still not right. Length is on the long side for my 5ft 6" body length (same as picture) so I pull it up a bit so more comfortable & flattering. The material is good; not too thin or see-through. The composition mix of viscose & cotton is good mitigating the material bobbling. Raspberry colour with black lace is nice & girlie. M&S, please bring back the pattern used a number of years ago; it worked better for DD-G sleep vests. It would also be nice to see DD-G secret support for short & long sleeve tops, chemise & nightdresses...

Well, it's nice that these DD-G pyjamas colours are finally being done in a colour other than white again. This is made of nice soft fabric and the colour is a lovely vibrant fuchsia pink. I am also pleased to see that the straps are a bit sturdier this time (they are meant to be supporting DD-G cup sizes and tiny straps digging into your shoulders is not comfortable!). However there are still problems- the straps need to be even wider to provide decent support, the v-neck is still far too deep (far too much cleavage on show) and the length is way too long. I am 5ft 4 and the top comes down past my bottom! So- nearly but not quite. It would be nice to have some with short sleeves and long sleeves for the winter too.

This top has support under the bust which is handy for me being a size 34f and a size 18. It fits perfectly and true to size. I bought the pale pink last year and it has been washed many times and still looks good.
